PC-DMIS Overview

With over 30,000 seats in place, PC-DMIS-EMS is the world's most popular metrology software.

EMS stands for Enterprise Metrology Solutions and is a metrology system. It's the guiding idea that constantly drives our software development.

The logic behind EMS is simple - use core technologies of PC-DMIS as the foundation of a group of interrelated software products that companies of all sizes, ranging from small shops through multi-nation giants, can use to build integrated and efficient metrology systems. These products have a common look and feel and are able to share data, and in some cases part programs, among themselves.

The five basic capabilities PC-DMIS EMS offers are:

  • The control and operation of measurement equipment
  • The development of inspection routines
  • The evaluation of measurement data
  • The generation of reports
  • The transmission of information / feedback

Always available for whichever job may need them, PC-DMIS is able to configure and reconfigure them to meet changing requirements.
