Sheffield Measurement service from Hexagon Metrology is performed by factory-trained and authorized engineers with the right equipment, knowledge and technical support to keep your CMM calibrated and fully certified. Hexagon Metrology does not authorize any third-party organizations to perform service on our Sheffield Measurement brand in North America.

We have an advanced scheduling system that notifies you in advance of when your machine is due. Plan around your production needs - you never have to worry about your CMM being out of certification.

We have two options for most CMM's:

Re-calibration (ISO 10360 or B89):

• ISO 10360
  • -2 volumetric and probe accuracy tests
  • -4 Scanning accuracy test (where applicable)
• B89
  • Certification LASER or Step Gauge linear accuracy verification
  • B-89 Ball bar volumetric accuracy test
  • Repeatability check
• Squareness correction
• Preventative maintenance check
• A certificate of accuracy traceable to NIST in accordance with ISO 9001 ISO 17025, ISO 10012-1, ANSI/NCSI 7540-1 accreditations

Re-certification (B89 only):

• B-89 Ball bar volumetricaccuracy test
• Squareness correction
• Repeatability check
• Preventative maintenance check
• A certificate of accuracy traceable to NIST in accordance with ISO 9001 ISO 17025, ISO 10012-1, ANSI/NCSI 7540-1 accreditations
