Onsite CMM Repair Service

Sheffield Measurement, through our parent company Hexagon Metrology, operates a unified network of service centers throughout the world providing repair, certification and calibration services, relocation of your CMM, and preventive maintenance. We service all Hexagon Metrology brands and models including Brown & Sharpe, DEA, Leitz, Sheffield, and Starrett (CMM only). Non-Hexagon Metrology CMM brands can be certified via our Universal Calibration Services group.

Since we are the orignal equipment manufacturer, we have access to all the original drawings, specifications, firmware and spare parts for your CMM. Third-party service organizations don't necessarily have this information, so it's best to understand what exactly you are being quoted so you can compare apples to apples - often the true cost of the service is equal to or lower through the OEM.

We are ISO 9001:2000 and 17025 accredited, ensuring our procedures are above the industry standard. Our calibration equipment is fully certified and traceable to National Institute Standards of Technology (NIST) guaranteeing the highest confidence in the precision of your CMM.
